وأوضح الرشيد في مقابلة مع مجلة هارفارد بزنس ريفيو، أن المطار من أبرز جهود الهيئة للمساهمة في رؤية 2030. وبين أنه سيتم العمل مع القطاع الخاص لعمل النموذج الأنسب لهذا الاستثمار.

وفيما يتعلق بمشروع مترو مكة، قال الرشيد: «تم استكمال دراسات الجدوى والتصاميم الأولية الخاصة به، ورفعت إلى الجهات ذات العلاقة لاستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة تمهيداً لطرحه في مراحله القادمة».

Al-Rasheed explained in an interview with Harvard Business Review that the airport is one of the prominent efforts of the commission to contribute to Vision 2030. He indicated that they will work with the private sector to create the most suitable model for this investment.

Regarding the Mecca Metro project, Al-Rasheed said: “Feasibility studies and initial designs have been completed, and they have been submitted to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary procedures in preparation for its upcoming phases.”
