وأصدرت إحدى الشركات، التي تعتبر واحدة من أكبر مشغلي رحلات الطيران في أوروبا، تحذيراً للمسافرين مفاده أن نقص الوقود يُهدّد العطلات والرحلات خلال الأسابيع القادمة، ويتوجب وضع ذلك في عين الاعتبار.

ويُواصل نقص وقود الطائرات تهديد خطط العطلات الأوروبية، إذ ترتفع التكاليف إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة بعد إغلاق إيران الفعلي لمضيق هرمز.

ونقلت جريدة «Metro» البريطانية في تقرير اطلعت عليه «العربية Business» عن الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة كينتون جارفيس قوله: «لدينا رؤية واضحة حتى منتصف مايو فقط».

وفي هولندا، أعلنت الخطوط الهولندية أنها ستلغي عشرات الرحلات على العديد من خطوطها الأكثر ازدحاماً بسبب ارتفاع تكاليف الوقود، بإجمالي 160 رحلة، موزعة بالتساوي بين رحلات المغادرة والوصول إلى مطار سخيبول في أمستردام.

كما أوقفت شركة الخطوط الألمانية عشرات الطائرات عن العمل، وتهدد شركات طيران نيجيرية بالتوقف عن الطيران تماماً إذا لم تنخفض التكاليف قريباً.

One company, which is considered one of the largest operators of flights in Europe, issued a warning to travelers stating that the fuel shortage threatens holidays and trips in the coming weeks, and this should be taken into consideration.

The ongoing shortage of aviation fuel continues to threaten European holiday plans, as costs rise to unprecedented levels following Iran’s effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

The British newspaper “Metro,” in a report reviewed by “Al Arabiya Business,” quoted the company’s CEO, Kenton Jarvis, as saying: “We have a clear vision only until mid-May.”

In the Netherlands, KLM announced that it would cancel dozens of flights on many of its busiest routes due to rising fuel costs, totaling 160 flights, evenly distributed between departures and arrivals at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

The German airline has also grounded dozens of aircraft, and Nigerian airlines threaten to stop flying altogether if costs do not decrease soon.
