وأظهرت بيانات «إل إس إي جي»، أن سعر استئجار ناقلة نفط عملاقة -المستخدمة لنقل مليوني برميل من الشرق الأوسط إلى الصين- قفز إلى 423.7 ألف دولار يوميًا أمس، بزيادة تجاوزت 94% مقارنة بإغلاق الجمعة.

جاءت القفزة في أسعار الشحن بالتوازي مع ارتفاع أسعار النفط والغاز، في ظل إلغاء كبرى شركات التأمين البحري تغطيتها للسفن العاملة في الخليج العربي، نتيجةً لتداعيات الصدمة الأمنية التي شلّت طرق الشحن الرئيسية في المنطقة.

كما قفزت أسعار استئجار ناقلات الغاز الطبيعي المسال بأكثر من 40%، لتصل أسعار الشحن عبر الأطلسي إلى 61.5 ألف دولار يوميًا أمس، كما ارتفعت الأسعار عبر المحيط الهادئ إلى 41 ألف دولار، بزيادة 45% مقارنة بإغلاق الجمعة الماضي.

Data from “LSEG” showed that the rental price for a giant oil tanker—used to transport two million barrels from the Middle East to China—soared to $423,700 per day yesterday, an increase of more than 94% compared to Friday’s close.

The surge in shipping prices came alongside rising oil and gas prices, as major marine insurance companies canceled coverage for ships operating in the Arabian Gulf due to the implications of the security shock that paralyzed main shipping routes in the region.

Rental prices for liquefied natural gas tankers also surged by more than 40%, with transatlantic shipping rates reaching $61,500 per day yesterday, while prices across the Pacific rose to $41,000, an increase of 45% compared to last Friday’s close.
